My name is Heather 👋🏼 I’m originally from Northern California. I joined the Air Force when I was 19 and have been traveling with my husband, Dereck and two kids ever since.

Like many of you, I am often asked how I got into cookie making. My “how” probably isn’t as elegant as some of your, but honestly I saw videos on social media and thought it looked interesting. I have always been a bit artistic and thought it might be a good outlet. I bought a couple things from Hobby Lobby, made my first batch, and I was hooked!

In mid 2022, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis affecting my hands and wrists. I was devastated. Cookie making was my stress reliever and it turned into a painful experience. I am a huge advocate for mental health and knowing I can handle anything that is thrown at me. I decided to shift my focus. If I couldn’t make as many cookies as I wanted, I was going to make unique, fun supplies for those who can.
